1. A completed & signed booking form must be returned to the Hall Management Committee prior to any use being made of the facility or any part thereof.
2. Any Children brought to the centre must be supervised at all times by a minimum of two responsible adults both inside and outside the facility. Any persons working with any child under 18 must adhere to Irish child protection legislation.
3. Whilst every effort is made to ensure the safety of our clients, Ballintotis Area Community Council Ltd (BACC Ltd) do not accept any liability for injury sustained arising from activity organised by other organisations or arising from unsupervised activity by minors etc.
4. Working at height is strictly forbidden without prior written agreement with BACC Ltd.
5. Booking fee is to be paid prior to proposed event.
6. Centre is to be left clean & tidy after use, with any waste removed, BACC Ltd reserve the right to charge client for the cleaning cost should this clause not be adhered to.
7. The contents of the Centre remain the property of BACC Ltd and under no circumstances may any items be removed from the Centre without the prior written approval of the Hall Management Committee.
8. Kitchen is only to be used by prior agreement with BACC Ltd and is to be left clean & tidy after use, children are not permitted to use the kitchen.
9. BACC Ltd cannot be responsible for any items left unattended in the Community centre.
10. Any person, group, club or organisation wishing to hire the Community centre MUST have adequate and appropriate insurance cover and provide a copy of all relevant insurance documents with their application form.
11. BACC Ltd must be indemnified from any claims, demands, actions or suits arising out of or in connection with any rental or use.
12. Any accidents, incidents or damage occurring within the community centre or on the grounds must be immediately reported to BACC Ltd.
13. A booking will be considered provisional until the booking has been confirmed in writing and a signed acceptance has been received from the client.
14. BACC Ltd reserves the right to require a Method Statement to be prepared where in its opinion the proposed activity involves an elevated risk of accident or injury to participants or observers.
15. BACC Ltd reserves the right to withdraw from a booking or refuse to hire the community centre should they have any reasonable cause to so do. BACC Ltd reserves the right to cancel bookings in the event of a clash of fixtures or other unforeseen circumstances. BACC Ltd will not be responsible for any losses occurring from any such cancellations. A minimum of three days’ notice will be given by BACC Ltd should any such event arise.
16. All spillages are to be immediately cleaned – under no circumstances is any fluid to be allowed soak into the wooden floor.
17. All visitors must comply at all times with all relevant fire, emergency and health and safety regulations.
